New York State recently announced plans to expand CTI throughout the state. Administration and Policy in Mental Health and Mental Health Services Research has published a systematic review of 13 experimental and quasi-experimental studies of CTI’s effectiveness. Led by Dr. Jennifer Manuel of the University of Connecticut, the review concludes that CTI demonstrated a consistent positive impact on two primary outcomes–reduced homelessness and increased service engagement use–among different populations and contexts studied.
