CACTI Partner Jeff Olivet Speaks at NIMH Conference
CACTI partner Jeff Olivet, CEO of the Center for Social Innovation, spoke at a conference on Transformative Opportunities for Solving the Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health sponsored by the NIMH Office for Research on Disparities and Global Mental Health and Grand Challenges Canada. The two-day meeting took place in Bethesda, MD, on May 8 and 9, and was attended by senior mental health researchers from the US and elsewhere. Olivet’s presentation, entitled “Capitalizing on Digital Intervention Platforms for Promotion, Prevention, & Care,” explored the ways in which various technologies have promoted the development of evidence-based practices in the field of mental health. Of particular note, Olivet described the popular web-based CTI implementation course that his team developed in collaboration with content experts from CACTI.
