CTI Spotlight: Lisa Johnson
In this installment of our podcast series, CTI Spotlights, we interview Lisa Johnson. Lisa Johnson is the Breaking Barriers Program Manager at Brilliant Corners in Los Angeles. Breaking Barriers is a 24-month rapid rehousing pilot program that provides housing, case management, and employment services to adults on felony probation who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Lisa was integral in the development and launch of the program in July of 2015 and has supported her case management team to integrate and adapt the Critical Time Intervention model to meet the unique needs of the Breaking Barriers participants. Lisa has an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and is passionate about criminal justice reform. I work in a large urban county jail that provides some reentry services and am interested in what you have found to be successful. Do you work with both males and females and if so, do you offer any different services for each? Thanks
