Report: CTI on Skid Row
A new report highlights the successes of a large-scale implementation of CTI in Los Angeles’ Skid Row, which was run by The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) and had additional support from the Corporation for Supportive Housing, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, and Housing Innovations. The project began in 2011 with the goal of providing 80 chronically homeless with intensive case management as they transitioned out of shelters, hospitals, and other institutions. The report outlines the specific ways in which CTI significantly impacted the women in the study, and includes recommendations and lessons learned which serve to inform adaptations for implementing the CTI model.
