CTI in Denmark
Last month CACTI director Daniel Herman and advisory board member Helle Thorning visited the Danish National Center for Social Research in Copenhagen, where they delivered three days of training to trainers, practitioners, administrators and evaluators to support a national CTI implementation effort. This initiative involves the development of pilot CTI projects in several sectors including homeless services and mental health. In September, a separate group of staff from the City of Aarhus Department of Social Affairs and Employment visited the US to learn about social psychiatric care efforts for ensuring a stable transition period after psychiatric care and about innovative technology utilized in training staff and consumers. Their visit included meeting with CACTI staff at Hunter College.
